V. O God, ✠ come to my assistance;

Prayer.
O God, who, by the fruitful virginity of blessed Mary, hast bestowed upon mankind the rewards of eternal salvation; grant, we beseech thee, that we may feel her intercession for us, through whom we have been made worthy to receive the Author of life, our Lord Jesus Christ thy Son. Who livest and reignest, with thee and the Holy Ghost, One God, world without end. Amen.

Ant. O Virgin Mary, there hath not in the world, amongst women, one arisen like unto thee; blooming as the rose, fragrant as the lily: pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

V. Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O sacred Virgin.
R. Give me strength against thy enemies.

Prayer.

We beseech thee, O Lord, that the august intercession of the blessed and ever-glorious Virgin Mary may protect us, and conduct us to eternal life. Through Christ our Lord.
